Prior to co-founding Emerald Pine Capital, Fabrizio was a managing director in the Asset and Wealth Management Division of Goldman Sachs. Fabrizio joined the European Special Situations team of Goldman Sachs in 2011. As a senior member of the Real Estate investing team, he was responsible for investments in opportunistic real estate, non performing loans and special situations across several European jurisdictions. In 2021, Fabrizio transitioned to the Sustainable Investing Group, where he led the development of a nascent strategy focused on forestry and agriculture. Before his time at Goldman Sachs, Fabrizio was a director in the European CRE Special Situations group of Deutsche Bank, which he joined in 2005. He began his career in 2002 in the Global Principal Investment and Secured Financing team at Merrill Lynch in London. Fabrizio holds an MSc in Finance from Bocconi University in Milan.

Prior to co-founding Emerald Pine Capital, Alessandro was an executive director in the Asset and Wealth Management Division of Goldman Sachs. Alessandro joined the European Special Situations team of Goldman Sachs in 2015. As a member of the Real Estate investing team, he executed several investments across the capital structure in real estate assets, real estate platforms, performing and non-performing credit portfolios secured by commercial and residential real estate. Before his time at Goldman Sachs, Alessandro was a member of the Asset Finance and Asset Backed Securities team at Credit Suisse, where he began his career in 2014. Alessandro holds an MSc in Finance from Bocconi University in Milan.

Prior to joining Emerald Pine Capital, Trevor was Investment Director at Marlet Property Group, Ireland’s largest privately owned real estate developer, having joined the business in 2015. During his time at Marlet, he was involved in over €1.5 billion of transactions across the UK and Ireland, comprising office, logistics, retail, student housing, build-to-rent, and build-to-sell assets. Trevor is a Chartered Accountant, having trained with PwC Dublin, where he began his career in 2008. Trevor holds a Bachelor of Commerce from University College Dublin.

Prior to joining Emerald Pine Capital, Francesco was an investment senior analyst at Hines Italy in Milan, where he focused on real estate investments. Before his time at Hines Italy, he completed two internships in M&A and corporate finance in Milan. Francesco collaborates with Bocconi University as Academic Fellow in the Department of Finance. Francesco holds a MSc in Finance from Bocconi University in Milan.

Prior to joining Emerald Pine Capital, Romana was an Investment Banking Analyst in the Natural Resources Group at Goldman Sachs in London, where she focused on infrastructure, power & utilities and energy. Before her time at Goldman Sachs, she interned at Morgan Stanley in London and Credit Suisse in Milan. Romana holds an MSc in Finance from Bocconi University in Milan.

Prior to joining Emerald Pine Capital, Matteo was an AI & Innovation Consultant at Deloitte in Milan, where he focused on AI strategy and startup ecosystems. Before his time at Deloitte, he delivered AI technical projects for diverse use cases. Matteo holds a Bachelor's degree in Physical Engineering from the University of Venice.

Prior to joining Emerald Pine Capital, Cathy spent over 15 years across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia managing financial operations and delivering strategic business development support to leading companies across different sectors. Cathy holds an MSc in International Financial Management from the Paris School of Business in Paris.
